Murphy Construction Services Inc. was founded by Sean Murphy with a clear purpose: to build exceptional custom homes through craftsmanship, collaboration, and integrity. For over 25 years Murphy has been been crafting custom homes, high-end renovations, and zero-energy homes throughout the Front Range and Mountain areas of Colorado.
Sean’s career began with a hammer in hand—learning the craft of framing from the ground up. That early, hands-on experience laid the foundation for his deep understanding of how great homes are built. Over time, he rose to serve as President of Harrington Stanko Construction one of Boulder’s most respected and long-standing builders. For over 14 years, he led complex, high-end residential and commercial projects, earning a reputation for leadership, precision, and trust.
With Murphy Construction, Sean brings together the insight of a seasoned builder and the mindset of a true craftsman. His approach is rooted in strong relationships—with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers—because he believes great projects are built by great teams.
